About Partho Sengupta

Cardiologist Partho Sengupta’s primary goal is to harness the exponential growth of state-of-the-art cardiac visualization technologies to detect the early stages of cardiovascular disease and improve patient care, in the US and low-income countries. Currently a Professor of Medicine and Director of Interventional Echocardiography & Cardiac Ultrasound Research and Core Lab at the Mount Sinai Hospital, he completed his clinical residency and cardiology fellowship from Mayo Clinic Rochester and Arizona respectively. In 2015, Partho delivered the first-ever lecture to feature hologram technology at the American Society of EchoCardiography’s 24th Annual Scientific Session. With over 150 peer-reviewed publications, Partho’s futuristic ideas, investigative skills and international work have been widely acclaimed by major media outlets including Heart.org and Forbes. Partho was recognized in 2015 as a Top 25 professor in his field by the online site MedicalTechnologySchools.com.
