Ken Kamler

Chosen by New York Magazine and by Newsday as one of New York's Best Doctors, Ken is a microsurgeon as well as a former 10 year vice president of The Explorers Club. He has been a consultant for NASA performing surgery undersea and in zero gravity. He's treated casualties high on Mt. Everest and deep in the Amazon jungle. His TV appearences include Nightline, 20/20, Today, Larry King, and Oprah. He currently writes for National Geograghic Adventure and Popular Mechanics. Ken's two books, Doctor on Everest, and, Surviving the Extremes, explore the most inaccessible places on the planet - especially the inside of the human body and mind, which contain more unexplained mysteries than any place else in the universe.
