Sandeep “Sunny” Kishore, MD, PhD
Fellow of the Human Nature Lab at Yale University
Sandeep “Sunny” Kishore had been a founder of a global health organization, a Delegate to the UN General Assembly, a Fellow at MIT Dalai Lama Center for Ethics & Transformative Values, a Soros Fellow and the first Lancet awardee for community service – all before starting his internship in internal medicine at Yale University in 2014. Before that, he was a post-doctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School where he directed the Young Professionals Chronic Disease Network, which currently includes 5,000 members from over 150 countries committed to the equitable prevention and treatment of non-communicable diseases as a social justice issue. His PhD research focused on the evolution of malaria parasitism in humans. Sunny was a TEDMED 2012 speaker and also co-hosted the TEDMED 2014 DC stage.
